I have a surgery date set and have my pre-op counseling set for November 28th. I can't believe that I have to have surgery to lose weight. My mind keeps telling me that I should get off my butt and exercise more and eat nothing but salads, but I've basically tried that. It is what it is and this is where I am in my life. I have to accept it and move forward. 
I'm so grateful to be able to read everyone's posts. Whenever I doubt my decision, I log on. Although I realize there are problems and complications, it helps to see everyone's progress. I hope that I can do the same for someone else.
