Well, I am definitely on the path to a new me!  I consulted with the surgeon, had my blood work, stress test, physical, and psychological evaluation done.  I'm just waiting for the stress test results to come in and my surgery date can be set.  I'm hoping for an early June surgery date, right after school is out.  I am a little nervous,. but I think that is normal.  My BMI is at an acceptable level for Lap Band but not for gastric by-pass.  I know this is going to change my life dramatically, but let's face it, I need the change as anyone who has ever lived the obesity life.  

I'll be posting again when I get my official surgery date.
