"My doctor was very nice and was impressed that I was so well informed about the procedure I was to have.I still have the same impression of Dr. Livingston.His assitant was very knowledgeable and helpful and nice.There was nothing I did not like about her.Very easy to talk to, listens to you.He will ask you questions and don't be afraid to ask him questions either.I already knew what to expect before I went to my appointment, so he was impressed and so was the nurse as there were only a couple of questions I had to ask.Yes , they do have a structured aftercare program. They didn't really address the risks of the surgery as I had already read all and printed all that I could find on the internet,and also personally know people who have had this surgery to ask questions and advice from.I would rate him overall very knowledgeable as he has done hundreds of these surgeries and also the plastic surgery to get rid of the excess skin.As of right now, I have not had the surgery and will let you know more later after the fact.But as far as surgical competence and bedside manner, personally I think they both go hand in hand with a great doctor.After all they are trained to take care of people and part of this is the bedside manner before and after the surgery."
