"I had my consultation with Dr. Lane on 11/26/03. He was very personable and took his time answering all the questions I had. He explained the benefits and the risks associated with WLS as well as with any surgery. He felt confident that insurance approval would be no problem but as of today 12/29/03, I still haven't heard anything from BCBS. Dr. Lane comes highly recommended and I feel confident that I made the right choice in surgeons. He really emphasized the BEGIN program and support groups as part of an aftercare program. "
