I weight 187 that is 99lbs lost since my surgery 6 monhs ago today.  I can hardly believe it.  I feel good and alive.  I have been walking everyday w/my friends.  I do need to start doing more weights.  My eating has been ok but still not getting enought protein or water in.  I am trying. 

I am down 93lbs at 5 months!!  I am just so shocked!!  My husband was looking at a picture of us together last July and he said to me "mom you where wide"  and my kids just laughed but its true my kids have never known me to be under 220.  My husband had known me when I was 150.  I am still having a har time getting in all my water and protein but it is geting better!!!  I love my RNY!!!

Well I am 3 months out and down 67 lbs.  I went to Florida with my daughter and it felt so good to be able to buckle the seat belt with out any problems.  We had a good time and I rode all the rides.  I am starting to lose my hair but not to much.  I need to get more protein inand excersise more. 

Well i am down 52 pounds.  I feel great!  All my clothes just feel so big but I am not ready to shop yet.  I put on my husbands tank top today and it fit.  It was a size large.  I cant believe all these changes.  But I am starting to see the skin hang.  My only down fall is I need to start some weight training.  Also sometimes I just cant decided what to eat because I cant tolerate chicken or hamburger.  and Oh my god Mcdonalds french fries make me nauseous.....I stopped for my kids on the way to a meeting and I got so sick.  This happened twice.  Once I was in a store and I smelt them and the other in my car.  I love tangy stuff.....

I am 6 weeks out and down 40lbs!!! Wow I cant believe I lost that much.  I would have never lost that much before.  I am doing better with my water intake but not to good with the protein.  I caneat more of a variety of foods so maybe I will try protein bars. update later.

Well I did it!! On Sept 7, 2007.  I went in at 5:30am and started my journey into my new life.  When I first woke up I felt like crap I could not handle the hose in my nose.  When I awoke the nextday the finally took it out.  I was happy, happy....  left the hopital after 4 days with hardle any pain.  Most came when I was sleeping at night on my side.  I stayed in Oahu for 2 weeks.  I am so thankfull to my MOTHER and my PARTNER.  They were there for me and I also give my 3 kids credit for them handeling while I was gone.  I cried when I finally came home.  I lost 22 pounds at my first 2 week check up.  Could not believe it.  I was like WHAT???  It just didnt seem like it.  I am 3 weeks and 3 days out and I dont have a scale, which I need to buy one.  I dont know what I am now.  I am having a little hard timeon getting all the water and protein drinks in.  I just get so full so fast.  Well I will post later>>>>>

I went to the Doc today and on this new meds for my high blood preassure it is done a little.  This friday I start my different test.  I have a ultrasound at 7:15am and than my MMPI at 11:00am.  2 hours didnt know it takes that long.  But I gained 2 pounds but I guess thats my fault I havent been trying to lose.  I am getting nervous but at the same time excited.  I havent even told my employer yet that I will be taking 3 weeks at the least off.  I am hoping that I can do this in Sept of this year.

5/2/07 I went to the doctor yesterday for a regular check up and well....he put me on a new high blood preasure med and cholestrol med. I am getting tired of all these meds. Sometimes I forget to take them and I suffer from really bad head aches. He also scheduled an appointment to start all the testing for the preop. I just want to get this done. I am getting excited. I love this web site!!! It really makes me feel not ALONE!!!.
