4th day out of surgery

Okay, well today is my 4th day out from having my RNY and other than the fact that I am just now beginning to get rid of the air that they fill you with to work around in there, I'm feeling great.
Only had to take pain meds once today, so that's a good thing (depending on how you look at it..LOL).
Working on the liquid diet. Try to do at least 2 protein shakes a day, that's giving me 46 grams of protein. Chicken broth, sugar free jello and Popsicles. Word of advice, don't over do it on the sugar free Popsicles-they often have sugar alcohol that can give you even more gas (NOT a good thing!)
Busting down the water and herbal tea. I think that as long as when I go to the bathroom, the pee pee is clear, I'm getting enough fluids. My doctor says that is the one thing most of his patients become hospitalized again for is dehydration.
Anyway...check out my weight tracker after my first post-op appt with my doctor on March 3rd...we'll see how much has left the building!!
