I have always been the heaviest person in my family at school my entire life. On July 30, 2007 my life changed. I decided enough was enough and I was going to take control of my life. I found an amazing surgeon (Dr. Neal) in Olympia, WA. It was different trying to train myself to eat all over again. The first year and a half to two years, I managed to loose 140 pounds and had the most amazing support in my life. Then came my first unfill. I had gone from a size 32 womens to a 20 womens. It is amazing how people look and treat you different. I am still the same person I have always been, my body just looks differet. Than, I had to have an complete unfill and that was so devistating to me. I felt like I had failed my band and myself. I tried to pick up my head and start over. About that same time is when the family support I had thus far started trying to sabotash my journey by saying I had an eating disorder and takin low blows at me any chance they got. I tried to distance myself from that but it is hard when its family. Now, almost 4 years later, I am now back into a size 22/24 and down 80 pounds instead of the 140 I was a few years ago.
My girl Tiffany has told me over the years to join and utilize this OH website and have not until just now. I am hoping that from this website, I can regain my motivation and determination to get to the end goal. My end goal is actually a number on the scale and not a size. I have signed up to go to the OH Conference in July and plan to utilize this website.
Any motivation or positive thoughts is greatly appreciated.
