I'm Home From The Hospital!!
Dec 22, 2008
Hello All -
Well, I didn't really post anything until after my surgery. Pretty much the same story as everyone here. I have been looking into and researching WLS. The time with the Dr flew by really fast, from the time I first met with the Dr...it was a month before I was wheeled into the OR. I had lost 30 pounds in that one month. I did nothing but a liquid diet and ate nothing. It was sheer torture! I figured that if I could make it through the liquid diet phase, I could do ANYTHING!!!
Anyways, The surgery went well. They ended up fixing a hernia, removing my Gall Bladder, and then doing an RNY - lapriscopically. It's been 4 days since the operation and I am still really sore. I am getting better everyday, so I know it won't be long until I am feeling great and enjoying the weight loss.
If anyone has any questions, please feel free to ask! I would enjoy answering any of them!
