OHIP has given initial approval for my surgeon to do the testing to see if I qualify! I don't anticipate any problems for the final approval. This is a big relief! I can dare to hope again...

I've been thinking about WLS for awhile.A friend had it done last May and has lost 92 lbs! Another friend had it done at the beginning of '09 and is doing great. I have started the process but now that I've made up my mind, waiting until July when I have time for the surgery is going to drive me crazy. I still have to hear from the insurance but I have confidence they will come through. Going to meet Dr. Goodman in Toronto in a few weeks. Looking forward to it and have lots of questions from all my research.
