HI all Just wanted to let everyone know that steven is doing great! He is still in the hospital but is doing very well and healing wonderfully, he is in good spirits and very thrilled today cause he was able to get Ice chips today lol. He should be home by friday. up-date..... Hi my name is ann. steven is my brother. He had his surgery at 7:30 this morning. I got the call around 11am that he did great during the surgery and there we're no complications,he is recovery as i write this and my family has yet to see him. I will keep u all updated , thank you for the prayers and best wish's. My brother is a wonderful loving man and has always been there for me. Hang in there Steve. You soon will be on this losing side. I certainly can tell you that it's been a wonderful journey. I also was a very large man for 30 years... After surgery and one year later the comments, stares, fat jokes are gone. Yes I have more weight to loose...but the 240 pounds are gone forever. I was 531 the morning of my surgery 11/11/02. The reasons for doing this are what you will have to offer...like LIFE!
