I visited Kim tonight and she looks wonderful. She has a lot of courage and is walking independently. She passed the leak test today and said it tastes awful. Her pain is contolled fairly well and looks forward to an uncomplicated recovery. Thanks for all who sent best wishes.

Kim had her surgery today and her husband Gary says she is doing fine. I will update in more detail tomorrow eve after I see her. Thanks for the encouraging notes.
