Five days post-op!!! Things went well! I was discharged on Friday 4/2. I'm moving kinda slow but the meds are helping. Taking a few "power naps" every day is also helping. Sleeping in my lovely recliner that my hubby has graciously moved to our bedroom. YAY!! Trying to keep my puppies off my incision has been a challange. My doctor has nicknamed me his "poster-child" for the surgery!! Hope that follows all the way thru!

April 29th is a great date! I will be joining you on the losing side on April 29th. I am looking forward to an uneventful surgery and quick healing and I will pray for the same for you. See you on the losing side. PS I have been told that if you stay away from gassy foods and drink lots of water now, before surgery, it will help with the discomfort after surgery.

Went to have my pre-op physical today. Seemed almost too easy!? My regular doctor said to make sure that I remind the staff that I'm allergic to Betadine...then he recommended that I print that in big letters accross my belly just before I go to the hospital...haha He thought that the surgeon might get a kick out of it. Seven more days!!! yeeha!
