Well, hello to everyone. My name is Donna and I am from Pikeville, NC. I have been married for 18 years and have a 16 and almost 14 year old. As many of you are here for that reason of weight, so am I. I have srtuggled for the past 18 years and I think it is starting to take a toil on my life. When I married in 1989, I was a 11/12. Now I am a 22/24/26, depending on how it is made. I get so angry and disgusted when I try to go shopping. I am to the point I just don't know what to do anymore. I have tried diets and other things but I just dont seem to get anywhere. This week my mother and I started walking. Our first day we walked two miles. I am very active as a preschool teacher. I just dont understand why the lbs. dont go away. I watch The Biggest Loser every Tuesday and laugh and cry with them. I am so proud of all of them. I am trying to take a stand on my life now at the age of almost 37 before it is too late. ...My mother in law had th surgery on Jan. 18, 2008 and Dr. Wiliam Chapman was her physician and she is doing remarkably well. My boss had the surgery at Rex, she was 300 plus and she is doing well. She has lost 66 lbs. since late Dec. 2007. I guess I am looking for people who are in the same boat as I am. You always feel alone but there is always some one out there like you. I need support to start doing the right things. I pray the Lord blesses anyone who may click on this sight and reads this message.
