Another setback-it seems two steps forward, two steps back.  It will be a miracle if I don't regain any weight what with all this stress and lack of exercise.  I went in to the hospital on 10/23 for a shoulder scope, and wound up with SLAP repair, and a shaven clavicle.  ABSOLUTELY NO MOBILITY IN LEFT SHOULDER FOR 6 WEEKS.  So much for exercise.  The real miracle is not to go back to stress eating

Hoo-Haaa!   Isn't that wonderful?  I just lost a whole posting trying to change the background color!  LOL  I could thaink of a lot worse things to happen!  It's been such a roller coaster ride, the last year.  I am fluctuating between 178-186 depending on several factors, such as how well my joints are holding up, and whether or not I have needed a steroid injection recently.  My next weight goal is 175, and it seem like forever that I have been working to reach that goal. I have learned, though, that sucessfull weight loss is not just measured in pounds, it is more accurately measured by other means:  I can now fit in carnival rides with my children, or at small tables at restaraunts, can fit in Aeropostle clothing, and have even worn some single digit size clothes!  These are the things I judge my weight loss by more so than just pounds, which can be deceiving due to excessive skin, water retention, or even worse, a full bowel.  I am back in school now, studying to get my teacher certification.  It's amazing how my life is falling into place.  Istill regret not having the surgery done sooner, but know I cannot change the past, only change the direction of the future.
