Hey everyone i am a 24 year old female who had gastric bypass surgery March 21, 2006. I have had my ups and downs, but till this day i am so glad i had it done!
I started out at 283lbs i was so scared what was going to happen to me if i didnt do something! I tried a lot of weight loss things and nuthin would help so i decided to do this surgery! Im not going to lie, at the begining i wish i had never had it done i was so sick and just didnt know what to do. If you ask me what i thought about the surgery and would i suggest you to have it done i would have told you no. Now if you asked me that i would say yes in a heartbeat!!!
MY surgeon took such good care of me, i could not have asked for anyone better. I had my surgery at Smyth County hospital and my surgeron was Dr. Robert Sass. He is so good and he is always there for you!
Well the outcome to all of this is that i have almost made it to my goal....my goal was 140 and im weighing in now at 143lbs....so not too bad! I would like to have my boobs done and a tummy tuck, but if it never does happen it will be ok because im just glad i can move and breathe better!!
