Well, it’s official! You’re on the losing side. The trumpets are blaring, the cymbals are crashing and the drums are drumming – all for YOU! I hope that all went well for you! You’ve been out of surgery now for a little over a month – YIPPIE!!! Your journey will have moments to “pause” – I’d like to impart some words of wisdom for when it does occur - remember these wise words whispered by Confucius – “It does not matter how slowly you go so long as you do not stop.” Be patient. You didn’t put it on over night, it won’t come off over night (DARN IT!)… RNY 10/31/03 – down 81 pounds!!! Good luck!

Sandra! So great to see you posting! I am so happy you are home and doing so well. I would love to stay in touch and continue to talk with you as your and my recovery progress. I have been going through alot of emotions and I think it would help us both to be able to compare and talk with each other. Continue to take care of yourself and welcome to the losing side!

I all, I am home from the hospital. Sorry for the late post my home interent was out of commission. Thank you all so much for the well wishes and prayers. I know I could not have done this without your support. A big thank you to Carol for coming to see me while in the hospital. You are the best Carol! I could tell from the brief moment we met what a wonderful person you are. Congrats on making it thus far and continuing success. If you hav any tips you think I should know please pass them my way. It feels good to finally be a loser. :)

Sandra is doing great! I was at the BTC yesterday and visited with Sandra and her lovely mother. She is up walking like she is suposed to and coming along nicely. What a trooper she is! My prayers for a quick recovery Sandra! God bless you.

Sandra, By now you have had your surgery. I hope you loved btc as much as I did =) Just know that the pain will get better day by day. just remember to walk and drink as they say. Just wanted you to know I am thinking about you. Jennifer -60

Sandra...... your re-birthday is FINALLY here !! I'm SO excited for you !! I'll remember you in my prayers and ask God to guide you through a complication-free surgery and a VERY speedy recovery. I look forward to following your weight loss success on the Texas message board so hurry back, as soon as you're up to it, and let us know how you're doing. Oh, and be sure to walk, walk, walk after your surgery no matter how bad you feel... it's VERY important !!!! :)
