Hi Patricia... I read your comments when looking up information on Dr. Sapala. My surgery was 2000. I am desperately trying to find my records. Anyway, I don't know how to get ahold of you, please email me at [email protected]. I too have gained back some weight and have some health concerns. I wondered if we had the same issues. Thank you so much, Tina

PATRICIA, YOU SOUND LIKE ME WHEN MY PROZAC IS NOT DOING THE TRICK. HUN, YOU SEEMED TO BE DEPRESSED. IT IS NATURAL AFTER MAJOR SURGERY. YOU NEED TO CALL YOUR DOCTOR. I HOPE YOU FEEL BETTER SOON.

Paticia, I'm sorry that you're having a difficult time with your bowels cramping right now. I don't know what's causing it but I do know a possibility. You said that you are only able to drink a couple of ounces of your protein shakes at a time. Are you saving them for later and trying again? The protein breaks down really rapidly once the drinks are mixed and you should throw anything away that is over about 30 minutes old. If you drnik it after that, you will experience major cramping and diarrhea. Other than that, I don't have alot of suggestions other than talking to your doc. I wish you all the best! Sharon LeBeau

Trisha is home. She sent me an e-mail and she sounded pretty good. Had some problems in the hospital not major. Had a slight fever and problems peeing after the cath was removed. She was released Saturday evening. She got to come home for Mother's Day!!! Everyone, go to her surgery page and wish her luck in losing and welcome her to the losing side. Lots of love - Lisa

BRAND NEW ANGEL REPORT - GOOD NEWS - TRISHA HAS MADE IT TO THE LOSING SIDE!!!! She had her surgery today and I spoke with her DH and he said everything went real well. The surgery took about 1 1/2 hrs. I also spoke with Trisha, she said she is in pain when she moves but it is bearable and worth it. She still has her NG (tube in nose) in. When that is taken out they will get her up and walking. Please keep Trisha in your prayers to continue with an excellent recovery.
