I just got off the phone with Jeff, Vickie's husband. The doctor told him that Vickie's surgery went just fine! They will be moving her out of recovery in about 45 minutes and she will spend tonight in ICU. He said they told him she will probably be home Saturday...Father God, thank you for being with Vickie and her surgeons today, thank you for the precious gift of Vickie's friendship. Please continue to hold her in your healing hands and surround her with your love. Praise and Glory be to You! In Jesus's name AMEN

Vickie, Just wanted to wish you the best of luck with your surgery. May it be uneventful and your recovery speedy. Just think, it really is going to be a whole "new" year. A happy, healthier, thinner one at that! Happy Holidays :o) ( and yeah, i think tequila IS a clear liquid...lol )

Vickie, congratulations on your upcoming surgery. May peace and love surround you on your journey and carry you along safely. Remember to drink your water, take your vitamins, walk daily and most importantly, be gentle with yourself along the way. Lastly, don't forget to stop by occasionally and update your profile. hello Vickie, I am 6 days post op and I did great and I feel wonderful thahnks so much for your words of encouragement! Good luck on your upcoming date..you will be just fine...relax its not as bad as I thought it would be...god bless

Vickie, I know that you will be fine, just like when you had your gallbladder out! But as always you will be in my prayers. I thank the Lord that you have been part of my life everyday for all these years and that we have undertaken even this journey together. It seems we do the important stuff together, I know we have way too much to do for anything to stop us now!!! In wish that I could be there with you in person next week but I will be there in prayer. I LOVE YOU AND I THANK GOD FOR YOU!!!

Good luck on your coming surgery. My prayers are with you, and hoping for an uneventful surgery, and a speedy, painfree recovery. Keep your focus on healing.
