I am now over 10 months out. I am 130 lbs down from my highest weight. On Sept 15th I married my best friend in a dress that I had to have altered down almost to half it's original size. It made me feel great!!

I am almost two weeks out.

Last night I had my first time of 'dumping' I have heard many stories about this and it can consist of many things. There was no throwing up or diarrhea.

It was straight out pain in my intestines. I seriously wanted to die.( and that is not even exaggerating ) I have had 6 surgeries, gave birth to 2 children, and I NEVER in my life felt pain like that. It woke me up from a dead sleep. It lasted and on and off for about an hour. I never, ever want to feel that again.

Today I am basically afraid to eat anything at all. It is 2pm and all I have had is water. I know I need my protein. But I am seriously afraid to touch anything else. But that is my update... sorry it is a downer.

It is a bit sad, a bit eye opening and heart breaking.

Well, lets see...

I am 11 days out and all in all I feel pretty well. Still having issues laying on my sides so I am still sleeping in the recliner. I have tried the last two nights to sleep in bed first. My sweet wonderful man, slipped out in the night to sleep in the recliner next to me when he realized I was not in bed anymore. He is just so sweet to do that to be around me if I need him.  The only real problem I have had is BM, but that is slowly sorting itself out also. I have started getting out the last couple of days to get air and walk. I do not walk far but I will in time. The great part is NO pain when I am walking or after. I was afraid I would be in pain.  I am down 16 lbs so it is a start :) this coming up Monday I get to go on puree food, so a bit excited to not have to DRINK all my meals :)  

I do not go to the Dr's until after Christmas but then hopefully be ok to return to work. I am just concerned that I get tired so quicklyy and wish to sleep ALOT.

I am going from excited to nervous now, I have been on liquids for one day and my stomach feels like it is eating itself. But I will do what I have to, to make this work

Less than 2 weeks to go until surgery. I am super excitted.

I found out yesterday that my insurance company has approved the surgery, by wed I will have a date for the surgery. I can not wait for my new journey to start.
