I am 38 and the proud mother to two beautiful boys and wife to one awesome husband. My weight crept up through out college and seemed to serve as protection after a violent attack when I was 25. I met my husband right out of high school when I was much skinner and even though we reunited 5 years ago and many pounds later it has never seemed to bother him. He is truly my biggest fan and my pillar of support.
Both of my pregnancies were high risk due to my weight and diabetes. Now that my littlest guy is one, I made it a priority to get myself healthy for all of my boys. At my orientation my weight was 268. I have lost 11lbs pre-op and am thrilled to start my new life on Feb 28th.
