I have been trying to get the gastric bypass surgery for the past 9 years and run into road blocks with insurance companies every time. I currently have a BMI of 60 and live a miserable life. I want to have this surgery so that I will live to see my children grow up and to be able to enjoy them while they are children. I want to be able to participate in their lives and at this size I find this hard to do. I feel like I am an embarrassment to my husband and children. I want this so I can get my life back.
