Hey everyone ! So we have a trip planned to punta Cana in January , that will put me at just over 4 months out , the trip is for my sister in laws wedding , I'm kinda freaking out because I've never ever been away to a tropical vacation and I have no idea what to expect from the food and what kinds of foods I will even be able to eat at 4 months post op ... I'm kinda of thinking that maybe we shouldn't go .... But I would hate to do that all because of my fear of the unknown ... Any suggestions/tips.. I know it's not for a while but I can't help but think and worry about it 

WOOHOOO lol finally that much closer !!! I had my surgical education class on feb 23, we were told that we would get a call for our surgeon appointment within 2 months of that education class , I was a little impatient and found a email address for the Manager of the bariatric Centre at TWH where I'm having my  surgery , so I emailed her and asked if my case had been reviewed yet and I got a reply within an hour and she gave me my date.. May 6th :) I'm so excited .. Im almost there lol !! I know it's always different but how long is the typical wait for surgery at TWH one u have ur surgeons appointment ? I wish it was YESTERDAY lol I'm so ready to get things going !  

Hey everyone !!! So I had my last appointment in Windsor yesterday and have been approved for surgery by everyone in Windsor , they are going to be sending me to Toronto YAY it's so much closer now !!!! Now I guess it's waiting game lol anyways does anyone have any suggestions on hotels near TWH , preferably within walking distance ?? I'm so excited to be done all my appointments and stuff , now I will be waiting by my phone for a call LOL
