5/14/2008: I started my whole Weight loss surgery info class at Kaiser, 8 wks of this and I'll be well on my way. They say they've already reviewed our medical files and if we were not qualified we would not be there :) I am told surgery will take place 1-2 mos after class. Also had my meeting with the Psychiatrist again, it was great, guess I'm pretty sane LOL I am so close now, FINALLY! It is strange but I went thru the whole do I part with my fat thing...has anyone else experienced this?? Weird I know but when you've been fat for so long it becomes like a companion ya know LOL. To be thin again, what would that be like??? ha ha
3/7/2008: So I attended my initial dr. appt/mental eval yesterday and everything is good. I start my nutrition classes Apr 7, 2008 and attend those for 8 wks. I then meet with the Psychiatrist again, pre-surgery and I am told it will be Summer 2008 for my surgery to take place. I am so excited!!! Finally!
