I am a 37yr old single mother of two. I had Lapband surgery in 2003 my highest weight was 273 on surgery date my weight was 263 managed to lose 63pd but never got under 200pd. I am currently in the process of getting a revision I was interested in getting RNY but now leaning towards DS. I have appointment with physcologist on July 1. I am also waiting on my primary doctor to finish with letter of necessity and fax over nutrition referral so I can schedule my appointment with nutritionist. I went to seminar on June 3rd had appointment with primary on the 4th just waiting for paperwork to be completed. I completed my packet the same day I recieved it because I am so excited I would love to have this surgery scheduled by the first week of july. I am sticking with my same surgery Dr Thomas Chua (WI) who by the way is an awesome surgeon he explains everything in detail I like that about him. Well I am keeping my fingers crossed that this happens fast I will be glad to get rid of this high blood pressure once and for all. I forgot to mention earlier my port had to be repositioned once and when I went in for a fill found it has to be repositioned again and I just opted for revision because I was not able to get my weight down. Since having surgery I had joined a health club and L.A weight loss I am just tired of throwing up and not losing any weight. I worked out for a solid month last year and did not lose or gain weight I just became so frustrated so hoping to make new friends and learn more about different revision surgeries.
