I am 42, the mother of one, the stepmother of 5, and grandmother of 8. I have battled my weight for over 20 yrs. I have tried it all, phen-phen, redux, meridia, xenical, weight watchers, diet center... you name it! I had minimal success, but would gain back more than I lost once I went off the diet. I have many health concerns that will benefit from weight loss, some including sleep apnea, hypertension, asthma, hypoglycemia, hiatial hernia, & GERD. .I have finally been approved after an 8 month battle with my insurance. I have surgery in Louisville on Sept. 25. I am a little anxious about my pain management thru out the surgical healing, as I have fibromyalgia and I know that my pain sensors are screwed up! I am very excited though, to begin a new portion of my life as an active and healther person! I have a wonderfully supportive husband who will be nursing me back to health.
