4 months post op....can it really be?

I can't believe it but today I am 4 months out from my bypass of June 2. Granted I had a second surgery on the 10th due to an abscess but my bypass was FOUR months ago. I wish the weight loss would go a little faster but my surgeon told me before surgery that because I had had a stapling in 1987 that the revision for weight loss (and to take care of a gastric stricture) that my weigt loss would be slower this time. Including pre-op, hospital stay and post op I guess I can't complain because I have lost 65.5 pounds. I still have 55.5 to go to goal and as long as none comes back I am going to be happy. I have already dropped several sizes and am back in what I call my skinny jeans (although I am far from skinny LOL) and that made me SOOOOOO happy. Staying healthy is the biggest goal of all.
