Hi, I'm Teresa. I'm 34 years old, married with 3 kids. I struggled with weight as a child, but lost it right before middle school. In high school I was on the drill team and kept pretty busy, so the weight stayed down. My senior year, I worked at McDonalds, and weight started creeping on. I was still "normal" weight, but I had gone up a size. I got married right out of high school and got pregnant a month later. I gained a lot of weight with my daughter and kept it on for about 4 years. I lost about 45 lbs on Jenny Craig, but it started slowly coming back, then I got preg with my 2nd child, then my 3rd 2 years later. I have been fighting my weight for 14 years. A few years back I lost 50 lbs on Nutrisystem, but of course as soon as I stopped eating their food, the weight came back. So, now here I am. I am self pay because my husbands insurance company will not pay for anything related to weight loss. Right now, I'm waiting for surgery. My surgery is scheduled for May 11th, so now I just wait.
