Hi, My name is Leticia and I'm in Dallas, Texas. I had gastric bypass with hand assist June, 20, 2006. My starting weight was 450 and as of today I have lost a total of 200 ibs give or take. The surgery was great with no complications. I have no problems with food or other problems, I am lucky I know. The first 2 weeks after surgery were the worse for me. It was very emotional and I had to adjust to my new way of life . I made it though it and as each day , month and now year went by its alot better. I am so thankful for my "new" life and a chance to use my full potential. By being on this site I hope to help someone that was in my place or still is there. You can do it and believe me it's not easy but way worth anything you think you might be losing.
