Hello everyone, I had my surgey Thursday morning2/15/07 at 7:00 am. I left the hospital at about 10:00 am Sat. morning 2/17/07. Carraway hospital was great. Dr. Andrew DeWitt was great. Stefanie Dutton was the BEST!! She went out of her way several times to make me and my wife as comfortable as we could possibly be. Even on her day off she was traveling with her family she still called and checked on me. I think I made the best decision by using Dr. DeWitt.
After sugery they put me in ICU the first night because I have sleep apnea. I have no CPAP machine so they put me in there to watch me closer. The next day they took me back to my regular room. I felt pretty good it hurt getting in and out of bed and when I coughed. Dr. DeWitt makes you do 8 laps on the 6th floor each day Friday I did 20 laps Sat. I only got 2 laps complete before they told me I could go home.
Anyone thinking of having this surgey please look into Dr. DeWitt and Stefanie Dutton!!
