Well a little over 2 months out and down a total of 53.5 lbs. I can't believe it. I feel great, enjoying all the compliments from co-workers, the clothes getting loose etc. Best of luck to those who are pre-op, waiting for approval or fighting the ins. co. (don't give up). Lots of love Karen :)

Howdy everyone. I came home yesterday around 6p.m.. So far so good. I have my own private male nurse, what a hottie it just so happens to be my wonderful husband Louie. Not to much in the way of pain. Managing it well with the Loratab. Doing my required laps walking around the house. Thank you to everyone who posted to my page. And special thanks to Pheobe and Jo who are my co-angels for checking up on me while in the hospital. Well thats all for now I'll update more later, take care Karen :)

Just saw Karen at Pomerado. She had just come back from a stroll around the floor. She looks wonderful and says she feels okay. Of course a little morphine is great for that! Her doc reports that surgery went perfectly and she may get to go home tomorrow. Drop her a note and tell her that you are thinking of her. Go Karen!

Yeah!!!! Karen is in recovery and doing fine she should be in her room very soon. I'll go see her in the morning. No sense scaring her tonight.
