"At first I have to say I was afraid to meet with her, but she made me feel so comfortable from her smile when she first walked through the door. My impression of Dr. Kurian only got better with time. I needed to loose a little weight before I had WLS, and there was a time when I lost most but gained a couple of pounds back I was so hard on myself I was sitting in the office crying and she just hugged me and told me things will be okay. The staff as a whole was always kind and considerate to everyone's feelings. They always made sure you was comfortable. Any future patients of hers should know she is kind hearted and very easy to speak to so don't be afraid to let her know exactly what you are feeling and thinking. Dr. Kurian has several things she feels you should do after WLS, to the point she will call and check up on you. She speaks on all the risks that could happen during surgery, however at the same time you feel as if this needs to be done. I would rate her 100+++++. Her surgical competence and bedside manner are both beyond great. "
