Hello,everyone! I guess I should have did this when I first signed up but, hey I'm doing it now. My name is Patrice*aka*Thickmadame1, I am 27yrs old. I am married to the most wonderful man in the world. We have 3 beautiful daughters ages 10,8,&4. We have been married for 8yrs and we actually just celebrated our 8yr anniversay on April 8,2008. I have struggled with my weight all of my life.As a child I was mentally abuse about my weight by the one who brought me in this world. It wasn't easy at all, it hurt so bad!
As a teenager I never thought I would be where I am today. I always thought noone would ever want me. But that all changed when I met my husband. I have been considering bariatric surgery for about 5yrs now. When I first started my research it was hard. By this time I had been to like three seminars. It wasn't until I realized that I was getting bigger and bigger, and I wasn't able to do the things I use to do. So in October 2007 I went to yet another seminar. I got all the information and began my journey. Yes, I drug my feet with getting my medical records and doctor letters. I could have been done had the surgery but it's my fault. But, I am here I'm still standing and can't nobody stop me now. I am looking forward to having either surgery. Long as I got my GOD,husband and kids I don't have to have anything else. I say that because there are people already beening negative. I don't need it and sure as Hell don't want it!! Then of course you got the haters but hey I just pray for all of them cause it's about me not them. In closing I want to thank everyone here at obesityhelp for their support. We are all in this together no matter how far or near we are. We all are or have went through the struggle or we wouldn't be here.
