"Dr. Alvarez is so sweet. He genuinely cares about his patients. I was very nervous going into the OR and he told me not to worry, that he'd treat me as if I was his sister. That was really comforting. I felt good just a few days post-op and I'm sure that has a lot to do with having such a skilled surgeon. Susan was wonderful as well. She called and e-mailed the day I got home and has been so helpful throughout the whole process. She is always quick and easy to contact and can give you answers to any questions you have. The hospital he works out of is old fashioned but it is very clean and I was really happy with his new suites. They have a computer with internet access and a phone that you are able to use the entire time you are there. I had a really good experience with the Endobariatric team."
