My name is Renee and I've been considering RNY for more than 5 years. In 2007, it became apparent that the only way to get my active lifestyle back was to proceed with the surgery. I am very active in community theatre but found I had lost my confidence. I used to be an avid hiker and volleyball player but had lost the ability to do those things in the last two years because of my weight and a knee injury. I miss my life going out and playing with my friends. So I did what I had to do....
