I found out about 3 weeks ago that I am, indeed pregnant. On February 9th I had my first ultrasound. My OB/GYN informed me that I may only see the sac but no baby and not to be alarmed or get upset if that were the case. So when I saw the sac with a tiny speck with a heartbeat I nearly cried. It was my baby... it hit me then, for the first time, that I am going to be somebody's mom. It was an amazing feeling and a terryfing one at the same time. My Dr. said the baby was too small to even measure but according to my LMP I should be around 8 weeks now. My next ultrasound is on March 1st, and by then the Dr. should be able to tell me my due date. I am so excited to see my tiny little 'guppy' and that itty bitty little heart beat thumping away on the ultrasound screen.

I've lost 70lbs!! OMG! I can't believe this is real. I am at 180lbs. This is beyond amazing. I feel beautiful... for the first time ever! I've still got 45lbs to go to reach my goal... but really it almost feels like nothing compared to how much I've lost so far. It's been an amazing... 4 1/2 months. Thank you God for giving me this opportunity.
