The change will be made!!!

I am a 43 year old wife, mom and grandma.... I love my family, but I'm not really crazy about me. I have made the decision to have weight loss surgery done. I am now basically just waiting on a date, although I still have to go to a diet class. I am so ready to get this done!! I have Fibromyalgia, and new things (not fun things) happen to my body just when I start feeling better. Due to some issues my pcp doesn't want me taking any diets meds RX or OTC. He suggested Gastric by-pass. I met with my surgeon who was highly recommended by 2 of his pt's. that I work with. He is sending a letter to my ins co. stating that the gastric sleeve will be more beneficial to me. But if my ins denies it, I will have the Gastric. I have never weighed this much in my life. Not even after my 2 kids were born. I am ashamed and embarrassed with my body...I hate to go shopping for clothes period. It gets very frustrating....I know when the surgery is all over I will feel better about myself and will again enjoy shopping for myself.
I already have my mind set of what I will be able to eat and drink and what I won't be able to have any more and that's ok by me!!!! It might be a little hard, but from what my friends tell me, it won't matter!!
I need and want to lose at least  60-70 lbs.
SO here I go!!!!!!!!
