56 year old male that has been fighting with weight my whole life and now I will have a gastric sleeve done. I am excited yet worried about what to expect once my surgery is done.  I know I will feel alot better emotionally and my diatetes hopefully will disappear.  Right now I am in the process of tracking everything I eat.  I've done my bloodwork and CPAP.  Now I am just waiting to see the Dr. when the hospital calls.  I've never seen myself slim.  I have always been a fat boy struggling and struggling, fasting and fasting.  I am so tired of all this weight.  So looking forward to the surgery.  I thought I would never get a call. My goal right now is to read as many post as I can to learn from those who have gone through the surgery.  My weight goal is 180lbs from 230lbs and climbing.
