4/11/07 Only 6 days until my WLS! I am trying to get my last minute things together. I homeschool my 8 yr. old, so need to get lessons together. She will be staying at my sisters, while I am in hospital. Her dad has to work. I guess, I need to start packing my bag and going over my list of stuff to do. I am nervous that when I wake from surgery that I will have a terrible sore throat. I did in the past, with one previous surgery;years ago.
Tomorrow is my appointment to meet the anesthetist, EKG and more blood work. I want to ask them to please use a SMALL tube for air, because of my throat.
WEll, I guess I need to drink my protein drink for the day!

Well, I am starting to get nervous. I have has no sodas of any kind for 12 days now. Yipppeee! I can tolerate GNC Protein 95 choclate flavor. I just have to start making time to walk daily. I am feeling positive about surgery. Can't wait to LOSE! Had my medications taken to the prescription center and they are going to compound them to liquid. Yesss! Glad to have talked to a couple new friends on here today. I will weigh in on Sunday.
