Well it is hard to believe it has been 3 months.  I am so happy I made the choice to change my life.  Friday is my 3 month follow up and I can't wait to see how the dr. feels I am  doing and to get my blood test results.  I feel great!  Plus get to go shopping!
 

I am so happy with the decision I made to have this done.  I would suggest doing it with a friend if you have one that is also considering it.  I find it very helpful to have a friend to compare things with and see if it is just me or if it seems normal.  I am slowwwwly jogging or attempting to along with my walks.  I will tell you it hasn't been easy but I really feel the difference.  I am losing about 3 pounds a week but hey that is better than gaining or staying the same.  I can't wait to be able to buy some more clothes need them now but have to wait for money. lol  Well I wish you luck!

I can hardly believe it has almost been 3 weeks.  first week was tough everything smelled so good and I was starving!  I will say having a good friend that I could trust with anything going through it with me at the same time was the best.  I highly suggest it to anyone who they and a friend are looking at doing this.  Do it together!  Buddy system. lol   I have had a lot of energy and once I could at least eat soft foods it was better.  If I never see broth again that is just ok with me.  Getting the protien in has been hard but is getting easier now that eggs and stuff are ok.  Well tomorrow is weigh in day for me so we will see how much I have lost. 

I can't believe I leave day after tomorrow to have surgery on Monday.  it has gone so fast.  I am excited for the journey and to start seeing the results.  Have been too busy to worry about much.  However have been a little nervous about being sick from Narcotis and/or anesthesia after the surgery.  However, the pre op nurse and nutrionist called tonight and she was AMAZING.  Her name is Meg at Good Samaratain and she was awesome.  She gave me sooo much information and really put my mind at ease and helped to renew my excitement for the journey I am about to begin.  Meg has had surgery herself so she completly understands how I am feeling.  I can't wait!

I can't believe how fast this week is flying by.  So much to get accomplished and soo little time. Almost like when you have a baby all the planning and preparing and do we ever think we are really ready?  I feel like I have been prepping for this surgery just the same.  So much at home and work to be done.  But, whatever is done is great and whatever isn't will be waiting for me when I return.  lol  I just can't wait yet getting nervous as well.  Keep me in your prayers as well as a friend of mine that is also having surgery the same day, well actually an old friend and a new friend I met on this site! 

Went and bought vitamins and different things needed for surgery date.  I am so excited for the day to get here and to get the first month down.  Can't wait for the body to match the image I have/remember in my head.  Woohoo!  I am very happy that I also have a friend who is going to be right there with me and we can support each other.
