Time for a blog session....

Today is Tuesday and according to my count down ticker on my myspace page I have 1 day 17 hours 40 mins and 26 secs, 25, 24, 23, 22 ..... OMG! Time is Flying and I can't keep up!!! lol
I'm very excited not about what this surgery will do to me but about what this surgery can help me do for myself!!!!!! I have full faith in my surgeon and the staff at the hospital which is a very comforting thought!
When I started the testing process for this I had a few friends and family members that tried to talk me out of doing it but over the past few months, they have backed off. Now I have new, "you shouldn't do it" people around me --- grrrrr. My reply is typically, you might think differently if you were me and since your not, you'll never know. I smile and then change the subject.
Tonight I plan on finishing up a few things around the house so that it's nice to come home to and will pack my bag to take to the hospital. My sister is coming down to be with me during the surgery and for about a week total to help me once I'm home. We are going to go up to Rocky Mount tomorrow afternoon and stay in a hotel so that we're not rushed Thursday morning.
Anyway - any tips, suggestions, ideas, for the next few days are VERY welcome!!!
