"I was a bit disappointed when I went to my room from the recovery room as I asked to be placed in private room if one were available. When I was finally allowed to get up to walk I discovered that there were several private rooms available. I asked my nurse if I could be moved into one. My nurse checked into it and I was moved into a private room about 30min later. The reason I wanted to be in a private room was because I am a nurse and my first instincts are to help those around me. Everytime my room-mate made a noise or moaned it startled me and I immediately went into nurse mode asking if she was alright and I even called for the nurse once for her. I was very grateful that the staff made arrangements for me to move so that I could recover like any other patient not thinking of others but concentrating on my health. Thanks Inland Valley, your staff is very professional and compassionate."
