April 14, 2008 - I attended WLS Support group with South East Bariatrics (SEB), Dr. Volellinger
April 21, 2008 - I attended Informational Seminar on procedures offered with Southeast Bariatrics. Dr. Volellinger informed attendees of options. Great care given and loads of info.
April 28, 2008- Had my inital consultation with Dr. Volellinger... Lap Band perfered and agreed upon to be a good option for me. The only bad part was they forgot about me and I was just chilling reading maggies. Glad I have a flexiable job.
April 29, 2008 - Had my Psychological Evaluation 
. Really cool to have this inhouse. Nice to speak with someone who understands.
April 30, 2008 - Had an appt. with my primary care physician. Did all my Lab work and Chest XRay and EKG. My doctor was excited for me ...actually thought it might be a good idea to get Gastric Bypass. I thought about it, but keep with Lapband.
May 5-6, 2008- Had a Nutritional evaluation and Physiology Evaluation
May 9, 2008- Lab work returned. My Dr. gave me a copy during Follow up appt and PAP Testing(TMI ..I know 
)
May 12, 2008- Had Upper GI and H- Pylori Breath Test done.
May 12, 2008- Attended WLS group meeting
As of today I am finished with appt. Now waiting for all test paperwork to be turned in and 3-4 week nutrition and excersie logs to be completed.
July 9, 2008- As of today I have completed everything and have done so for over 2 months now. For the past month I have been playing this.... we lost your... we have your lab work....actually we don't have your lab work( oddly misplaced and ultimatly lost after I personally hand deliverd the paper work), and your evaluations have't been sent to Patient Rep. game
.
So last night I got very sad and disappointed and was gonna give up. But I have already invested alot of money so far. Its amazing how you can do everything the way it needs to be done but other ppl think they don't have to. I did express this to my rep. This is very disheartening. The lack of orgaization is not up to standard nor my expectation. I wish that I could leave a client hanging for two months and never concern and then don't even respond to your concern. I would not have a job.
So I called my PCP and she was livid. She too was disappointed could not imagine why . She had her admin. copy my lab work, ekg, and chest x-ray and give to me. I picked up papers at her office which connects to mine and scanned all to the patient rep. So hopefully I will get some sort of repsonse and perhaps I can get some information on the evaluations that are two months late since my initital consult.
I feel really bad because Dr. V seems very nice, caring and knowlegeable. I appreciate what his vision for the WLS office is , however it's not really working to his design, so I am experiencing.
The worse part is that this is all just to get my information to my insurance company.
July 23, 2008-Today I was told that my paper work was sent to the insurance company.
August 5, 2008- Today I directly received a letter from my insurance company stating that I was approved. I was advised that I would hear from a scheduler and she will contact you about scheduling but haven't heard from her/him and today is August 17, 2008.
August 20, 2008 - 
Got my sugery date set for September 10, 2008. I have a Pre -Op class on Aug. 27th. Pre-Op Appt. set for Sept 3 and 4th. Two week Post Op Appt Sept 25 and a one month Post Op Appt for October 13th.
Now I start my two week liquid diet. ...I will keep you updated.
