Surgery Date!

I made it. Yesterday I got my surgery date. May 17th is the day. Part of me wishes it was tommorow and the other part of me feels like it all is going really fast. Really I'm excited, I can't wait to see the weight loss start. I'm not moving on the scale and I've been such a good girl. I swear the scale giggles with sabatoge each time I weigh myself LOL. I think my scale needs to meet my garbage can. I have two more weeks before I weigh in again at the doctors office and I need to lose 8lbs. I'm hoping for a miracle! More protien shakes here I come.

Saw the doc and said we should be able to set a surg date next month. Have to lose another 8lbs by then! Already saw the psychologist (apparently he thinks I'm sane, should probably check his credentials). See the nutritionist tomorrow and an UGI, labs and CXR on Fri. I'm almost there. Scared to death but almost there! I can't wait to start my new life. I want to see what I will look like thin, I've never seen it before. BTW, this is my first blog ever. I need to make some friends on here!
