After getting through the hellish process of getting to surgery. I am finally relieved that it is done! Now the second part to all this staying focused and waiting for the pounds to start flying off.  It's been almost a week since the surgery and this liquids thing has not been working out too well. Everything they have recommended for me to have during this time, just makes me sick. I would almost rather not have anything. My first post op appointment is tomorrow and I am looking forward to seeing what if anything I've lost! My whole family is watching me so closely its almost nerve recking. But, I got this!!! Keep watching

What out there - Now!! This coming Friday marks my one month anniversary. I have lost 19 pounds. I guess I am excited, but the funny thing is I don’t see it. Some of my clothes see to be a bit too big, but I was expecting a whole lot more for 20 pounds. But again I guess I can’t complain. This eating like a bird is quite hilarious J and for some reason it make me almost sick to see people pile food on their plate. Not sure why that is but …   I went back to work last week and that was cool, but boy do I miss my naps and I really don’t miss 6am at all.   This has truly been quite a journey and I am looking forward, because the BEST is YET to COME!!!!

10/6/08 Wow! So I got on the scale again today and to my surprise - I lost 4 more pounds. My goal was to loose 30 by Sunday (my two month mark), but I got pretty close so I am OK with that. So to date I have lost 28 pounds and I am OK with that.

10/24/08 Hi guys. This story is a little late but I am still so very excited about it. I went to my third post op appointment last week and got on the scale and OMG. I thought it was a joke. I got off the scale and asked the nurse for some tissue because I thought I was going to cry. I got back on the scale, by this time the nurse was so confused she did not know what to say. I looked at the scale and asked the nurse how accurate it was - still is disbelief. She explained the whole being calibrated thing but all I could do was laugh. I was stressing about how much wight I had lost and the scale I was using was wrong. How funny is that? So I figured out that I have lost 33 pounds. I called my mom, my best friend , my aunt and  my husband. I was so excited. Then I thought I needed to be rewarded so I went shopping. I will have those pic's up soon. I am 66 pounds away from my goal and that sounds so much better than 100. The best part to all this is the new nick name my husband gave me ~  "Slim" I love it ( ha ha ha ha ha ) Gotta go now but still laughing. :)
