Just under a year and a half after my lap RNY, I gave birth to my 4th child, and now have 2 boys and 2 girls. The boys are currently 10 and 7, the girls are 4yrs 9mos and 16mos. I've been married to my husband (Jeremy) 9yrs this Oct. and am looking forward to a lifetime more with him. I am now a SAHM thanks to a new job DH took. The hours weren't conducive to my job, so I had to give it up. I was working at Curves for Women, and do still help out periodically. Family is VERY important to me and plays a HUGE role in everything I do. As my children get older and enter school, I plan on becoming a doula for our local hospital and work more on getting my breastfeeding mentorship going. I've "recently" started working w/a local agency to become a surrogate. Hopefully I'll be matched relatively soon and start a whole new journey. DH and I are hoping that I can be a surrogate at least twice, but we'll see how it goes.
My surgery was July 21, 2004 and I had lost a total of 128lbs. I've since gained back about 6-7lbs, but I know it's because I've been "cheating" as well as not exercising like I had been. I still obviously consider it to be a success and am trying to get back on track. I'm hoping that in the next 2-4yrs I'll be able to get my plastics done....that's my reward!!
