I have always battled with my weight. I felt like I had tried everything. I had some friends and relatives who had gastric bypass and some did great and others had problems. I researched and prayed for about 3 years and one day the answer was laid on my heart. I could not play and run with my 3yr old son. That was an eye opener. I knew then I had to do something. I found a wonderful doctor through a friend and she went with me to the free seminar and from that day on I moved forward. I had surgery on August 7 2007 and today I am 41lbs lighter. I feel so much better already and have so much energy. My wonderful surgeon was Andrew M. DeWitt in Birmingham, Al. I reccomend him. He has a very good bed side manner and seems to care.
