Today I will start blogging and in doing so I hope this is the time I finally commit to trying to get approval for surgey. I (for the first time) called Henry Ford Hospital and set up an appointment to go to the WLS seminar. I have also made an appointment with my DR. so that I can beg them to give me the referrel to have the surgery. I have been on this web page since 2006, looking, reading asking a few questions here and there. I also received the BCN paperwork that explains the requirements for approval and now my weight falls into the part that does not require 6 month documentation of supervised weight loss programs. Something tells me there is a trick to it...time will tell.
I am tired of being big, I am tired of being sore all the time, I am tired of my feet and knees hurting and deathly afraid of getting Diabetes 2 I have a family history of it and with the weight mostly in my stomach I am sure this is coming.
I have given selfishly of myself for almost 9yrs and in the mean time I have let my self go ! This is going to be my time to get healthy and revitalized.
I sick and tired of being sick and tired!
