Well, my Dr. office submitted my authorization request yesterday and they called me today and told me I've been approved!!!!  The final piece of the puzzle is now complete- March 19 can not get here soon enough!! 

Well, the doctor's office called me on Friday (2/16) to schedule my surgery.  I can't believe it- it's set for 3/19, now I'm just waiting to hear that BCBS has approved me.  I've had all the evaluations and even had a sleep study- yuck!!!  I also have sleep apnea, but that's not really a surprise- I know I snore and it's bad- so now I've gotta get a CPAP machine and that's supposed to help.  I'm looking at this as something else that supports my need for this surgery.  Hopefully I'll hear that I've been approved shortly!!  I'll be back once I've gotten the word.
