11/07/02 7:15 am...well today's the day....i'm getting ready to go to the hospital, and it's hit me, i'm having SURGERY today...i'm being altered.... i know that this is what i need, and what i've wanted, but all of a sudden (or being honest, not so suddenly, but, surely... i'm aware that i'm going to be CUT, that i'm going to be stapled....(i've had other surgeries before, 3 sections, a lap cholecystectomy, and like that) but, it's happening....i don't know whether to laugh or cry.. i suspect i'll do both....

Have you ever seen the movie: THE WIZARD OF OZ??? Well, soon you will be saying what the wicked witch said when Dorothy threw a bucket of water on her: "I'M MELTING!! I'M MELTING!!!" Those lbs will just melt off of you soon. You will soon be walking down the YELLOW BRICK ROAD to see the WIZARD OF OZ and your sweetest wish will be granted. Congratulations and good luck to you. My husband and I both had our open rny's at Pacific Bariatric in San Diego in 2001 and have lost a combined total of 325 lbs. YOU CAN DO IT TOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
