"My first impression of Dr. Curry was that he was a that he was very intelligent and diligent man. I just had my first consult with him on 07/26/07 and I hope over time I continue to build a good rapport w/him and his staff. Dr, Curry's office staff was very nice and approachable. Everyone seemed to be very comforting and comfortable towards every patient, thus far. I wish Dr. Curry was a jokster like myself, but then again I appreciate the fact of knowing that he is very intelligent and serious about his job. Future patients should know that Dr. Trace Curry is a very intelligent/serious man, and he understand that this type of surgery is life changing, and he takes this type of medical procedure very serious, which means he doesn't have time for games since someone's life will ultilmately be in his hands. Since this was my first consult we didn't throughouly discuss aftercare, deeming I already knew much about the procedure, and the fact that I need to get the beforecare down packed first. I also knew a previous patient of his and he has also given me great advice and how to prepare for such a life altering event. However, knowing that they still remember post-op patients made me feel extremely comfortable that his entire staff remembers all their patients, like extended family. I am sure I will continue to see Dr.Curry even months-years after my procedure has been done to make sure I am keeping up with use of my tool. Dr. Curry strongly empasized the risk of surgery. He also honestly old me his ratio of mortality rates, which was very low, and I am very glad to hear this. At this current time I would rate Dr. Curry an 9.2 on a scale of 10. Although, I hope my feeling towards him change after surgey so that I can rate him a 10 out of 10! Both bedside manner and surgical comptence are important factors, but Surgical competence overrules perfect bedside manner. As long as Dr. Curry has excellent surgical competence and mediocre bedside manner I would be satified w/my results! "
